Please send all mail and packages sent to the mission home address in Jakarta. Regular mail usually takes about 10 days, express mail about 4-5 days. We receive express mail from Airborne Express, DHL, or FedEx. However, all are very expensive. Also, remember that anything that is sent with a value of more than about $40 (USD) will be assessed a duty tax of 25% of the value. Please do not send anything that can be construed as medication (vitamins, creams, health liquids) will cause substantial fees and long delays, as it will be subject to chemical analysis and government duties. Unfortunately, the delivery time for packages is not dependable. Normally, packages will take about 30 days to arrive; in some instances it has taken around 2 1/2 months, and in other cases it doesn't arrive at all.
